Hey family!

This week has truly been a week of miracles. I have been seeing the hand of my heavenly father in every little detail! I especially have seen this week the power of the atonement work in every one of our less-actives and investigators.  The Savior was ever so present this week in the work of the Lord!

One of our investigators is 13-years-old and lately we hadn’t seen too much progression with her and we were thinking of letting her go, however we decided to meet with her one more time. We watched the 20 minute video of the restoration and after it was done she sat there in silence, as if she was shocked and said, "I never have felt such a feeling in my life in this church and I am more than sure that it is true!" So amazing! Her mother is a little bit closed minded and has been a little difficult to break that barrier with her. The other night we went to her house and found her alone and we decided to watch the video "Because of Him" and we began to talk about the atonement of Jesus Christ with her face still trying to seem serious, broke out in tears and said, "You don’t have to convince me.  My daughter has changed completely and because of her change I know this is true!" This was such a miracle seeing the hand of God and Christ in her life and the life of her daughter.  I will never forget it!

The other day we went out to teach with one of the less-actives who was rescued. I could not believe the power that was there as he bore his testimony. He went on a mission but he had forgotten for a while, however, through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I couldn’t help but smile with joy the entire time while he was teaching!

This week was such a special week for me because the investigators, the less-actives and I were able to listen to God’s exact words through the mouths of the prophets and apostles. I will never forget sitting in the conference and looking over seeing Ana Nunes (recent convert) walking into her ENTIRE family! And also, we received two references from the members in the conference. It was truly a miracle!

Speaking of miracles, this is what I loved about the conference the most. As we stop getting "used to" the blessings and spiritual experiences that happen we will see in every moment the hand of god in our lives. And as we focus on the eternal PERSPECTIVE of who the second coming will be for you we will stop focusing on the little details that are really not significant in god’s plan of happiness! LOOK for hand of the Lord!

Thank you all for your love and your prayers. I know I say this every week but I honestly could not be here if it wasn’t for my FAMILY.  The family is the anchor to spiritual strength! I love you sooooo much! I hope you have an amazing week.  Keep smiling!

Love,  Jess
